Fannon --- Edward B. of West Roxbury, October 8, 2013. Beloved husband of Audrey (Pezzella) Fannon. Loving father of Allyson Fannon of Dorchester, Edward and Kara Fannon of Walpole, Jason Fannon of West Roxbury and Julia Fannon of Nashville, TN. Cherished Papa of Anthony, Justin, Kelsey and Kendall. Devoted brother of Richard and Carolee Fannon of Westwood, Jane Fannon of Framingham and John and Linda Fannon of Framingham. Brother-in-law of Stephen and Dianna Pezzella of Franklin and Paula and Andrew Hildreth of West Roxbury. Also survived by his aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury on Saturday Oct. 12, at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Holy Name Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday Oct. 11, from 3:00 – 8:00pm. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
Ed was a loyal parishioner of Holy Name Parish and a friend of Bill W. for 27 years. Retired employee of Boston Water & Sewer, graduate of the first graduating class of Xaverian Brothers High School 1967, member of two state championships for the Xaverian Football team, former hockey and football trainer at Boston University. Ed was a coordinator for the Boston Against Drugs program and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #3049.He will be greatly missed by all.
Ed’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for their dedicated care and compassion to Ed.
