James V. Christoni, 52, of Derry, NH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE. He was born on November 4, 1960 in Angola, IN, a son of John J. and Catherine (Ivan) Christoni. He will long be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, father and friend, and will forever be missed. Jimmy worked as an Inventory Control Specialist for Shaw’s Supermarket in MA. He was an avid sports fan. Most of all Jimmy enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of 14 years, Denise Christoni,” he was the love of her life”. one step-son, David Gibney, one granddaughter, Sophia, two brothers, John J. Christoni and Thomas Christoni and his wife Annie, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, John in 2003.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday September 22, 2013 from 1 to 4 pm, in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A graveside service will be held Tuesday the 24th in Pine grove Cemetery of Newport, VT.
