ON AUGUST 10, 2013 Bernadette “Betty” Frances Berry, 78, passed away peacefully at Stella Maris Hospice. She was born in Baltimore in 1935, where she worked at Shopper’s, Inc., Budweiser and as a bookkeeper for Gwendolyn R. Clark Physical Therapy at the Essex Medical Center. Betty was a graduate of Miss Millers Academy in Baltimore and a member for many years of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church. In her spare time she socialized with her friends at Timothy House, volunteered at the American Legion Auxiliary Hamiliton Unit #20 and enjoyed being a mother to her adopted nephews Karl and Kurt. She also enjoyed the company of her loving dogs Farah, Bambi and Fawn. She was preceded in death by her siblings Virginia Biondo, Margaret Tennant, Kenneth Utz and Robert Mullen. She is survived by her adopted sons Karl and Kurt Utz, her brother Jack Utz and also many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

All are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 14th, in the Stella Maris Chapel at 11 A. M. Interment in Holly Hill Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to Animal Rescue, P.O.
