NATICK: Mary A. (Cooke) Farrell, age 96, a former longtime Needham, resident, died at the home she shared with her brother in Natick on Thursday, July 18, 2013.
She was the devoted wife of the late George H. Farrell and the loving mother of Ann Waldron and her husband Michael of FL, Kathleen Morrissey and her husband Richard of RI, James Farrell and his wife Marnie of Peabody, Michael Farrell and his wife Maureen of Westwood, and Mary Callas and her husband Leo of VA, the beloved sister of James Cooke of Natick, and a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary was also the sister of the late John Cooke.
Mary was a retired executive secretary and director of personnel with the AAA Insurance Company of Chestnut Hill. She was very much a kind and generous lady who enjoyed the company of any number of her large family. Mary also liked to travel far and wide with her brother Jim.
Her funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, on Monday, July 22nd at 9:00a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Patrick’s Church 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
