William Daniel Higgins, 19, of Norwood died suddenly July 15.
Born in Boston, November 9, 1993, the son of George Higgins of Stoughton and Pamela (Hardiman) Higgins of Norwood, Mr. Higgins had lived in Norwood for the past 14 years.
He was a 2012 graduate of Norwood High School.
Mr. Higgins was attending the Peterson School, with plans to become a power plant engineer.
He had been on the track team at Norwood High School and enjoyed playing ice hockey.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Vicki Higgins of Norwood.
He is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles, Daniel and Cheryl Ziegelmiller of Bolton, John and Kelly Higgins of Westfield, Andre Higgins of Boston and Robert and Lisa DePavao of Billerica.
He is also survived by several great aunts and uncles and many cousins.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday July 19 in St. Catherine’s Church, Norwood at 10:00.
Relatives and friends are invited.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 in the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street, Walpole.
