Anthony R. Visco, Sr., 87, of Medford died Sunday after a brief illness in the Life Care Center of Stoneham.

Born in East Boston, he lived in Medford for many years and was the son of the late Assunta (D'Amico) and Filomeno Visco. Anthony proudly served in WWII, seeing action in Central Europe, and after the war as a Staff Sergeant in the 58th Army Postal Unit. He was an attorney at a law firm in East Boston, then worked for 30 years at the Social Security Administration.

Beloved husband of the late Nancy (Licciardello). Devoted father of Linda Visco, and Anthony Visco and his companion Regina Hurley, all of Saugus. Loving grandfather of Laura and Michelle Visco, Jennifer, Melissa and Ralph Giangregorio. Brother of Florence Serafini of East Boston, Ann Belmonte of Winthrop, and the late Alphonse Visco. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Thursday at 9AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8PM.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
