Obituary

Marie L. Lynch, 83, of Snake Hill Road,died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at RI Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Lynch, Jr.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Casey) Clark. She had lived in Greenville before moving to Glocester. She happily resided with Phil and Mickey Cerrone in an apartment in their home and she felt like family.

She had worked at Sears & Robuck on North Main Street in Providence and later the RI Department of Health before retiring.

Marie loved spending time with her two sons and grandchildren, especially at her summer cottage in Newfound Lake, NH. She was an avid New England Patriot fan and enjoyed attending any ballgame her sons and grandchildren played in from little league to college.

She is survived by her two sons, John C. Lynch of Providence and Chief Stephen Lynch, BPD and Ret. RISP of Smithfield, a sister, Anna MacAndrew of Warwick and 5 grandchildren: Andrew Lynch, Trooper Mathew Lynch, RISP, Alison Lynch, Kelsey Lynch and Emma Lynch. She was the sister of the late John Clark, Madeline Gilmore and Sr. Rose deLima, RSM.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Avenue, Greenville, RI 02828. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation Monday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Philip Church or the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick, RI 02886
