Obituary

Antoinette M. (Strozzi) Salvi 93, of Natick, formerly of Sherborn and Marlborough, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, following a period of declining health.

She was the beloved wife for 55 years of the late Walter E Salvi Sr., former employee of Carling Brewing Company, who died in 1998.

Born in Somerville June 19, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Nunziato (Nardone) Strozzi.

Mrs. Salvi spent most of her working life as a member of the food services industry, first as a waitress and luncheonette manager, and then when she moved to Natick from Boston in 1963, as a long term employee of Stop and Shop Stores in Natick and Framingham.

She is survived by her children Walter E. Salvi Jr. and his wife Susan (Marsh) of Natick, Nancy R. Winchester and her husband Richard of Natick, six grandchildren, Robert Winchester of Boston, Colleen Winchester of Natick, Michael Winchester and his wife Suzy (Barcelos) of Lincoln RI,, Janet (Salvi) Salvoni and her husband Frank of Hailey Idaho, Paul Salvi and his wife Sharon (Lawrence) of Natick, Elizabeth (Salvi) Brown and her husband TR of Marietta GA, eight great-grandchildren Conor McDonough of Natick, Tyler and Cooper Salvoni of Hailey Idaho, Lilianna and Juliette Salvi of Natick, Lucy, George and Anna Clare Brown of Marietta GA., her brothers and sisters, Vincenzo Strozzi of Wrentham, Tina Patalano and her husband Paul of Franklin, Louis Catalano and his wife Patricia of Ashland, Mary (Catalano) Hagerty and her husband Fred of Stoughton, and seven nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Ralph Strozzi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Saturday June 8 at 8:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Linus Church at 9:00 A.M.

Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
