Manchester– Mary P. Oliver, 94, died February 15, 2013 at the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Youngstown, OH the daughter of Stefen and Pearl Makar and had been a long time resident of this community.
She had worked at the Beau Reve, the Carpenter Hotel and retired as the manager of the Carpenter Center.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling and watching golf.
She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor and interesting stories.
Members of her family include one son Frank Oliver of Manchester, one daughter Patricia Bowe of Warwick, RI, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
There are no calling hours
A memorial mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 am in St. Catherine Church, Corner of Webster and Hemlock Sts.
Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford.
