On December 14, 2012 Bessie E. Dawson Barker (NEE Boykin) went to be with the Lord. She was born April 21, 1918 in Baltimore and survived 2 husbands, the late Benjamin F. Dawson, Sr and Arnold Barker. Devoted mother of Benjamin F. Dawson, Jr; Carolyn Lacher, Robert A. Dawson and the late JoAnn Wiedenhoeft and Georgia “Sissy” Church. Loving and proud grandmother of Richard Dawson, Karen Ruff, Gregory Dawson, Scott Wiedenhoeft, Robin Whatley, Matthew Dawson, Jeffery Dawson, Kimberly Dawson, Donald Church , Kara Walker and 7 great and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Catherine Myers and the late Marie Jenkins, Irma Ehrhardt, Laura Sproesser, Russell Boykin, Joseph Boykin, Bernard Boykin and William Boykin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
