Eloise C. McDonagh, 66, of Pepperell, formerly of Winchester, passed away on Nov. 11, 2012 lovingly surrounded by her family. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and M. Bernadine McDonagh. A software trainer for many years, Ms. McDonagh was known as an adventurer and risk-taker. In her spare time, she enjoyed mountain climbing, scuba diving and skydiving. She was also a licensed glider-pilot, equestrian, and horse jumping competitor. A raconteur, Eloise delighted in sharing her many stories. Eloise was the beloved sister of Jane M. Buckley of Abington, Fred J. McDonagh and his wife Justine Walsh of Falls Church, VA, Peter W. McDonagh and his wife Paula of Chelmsford and Paul C. McDonagh and his wife Mary Jane of Wilmington and the late Judy C. McDonagh. She was the adoring aunt of Colleen Alfieri, Kevin, Maura, Lauren, Michael and Andrew McDonagh and great-aunt of Amelia and James Alfieri.
Visiting Hours will be held on Thurs. from 4-8PM. Friends and relatives may gather at the Costello Funeral Home 177 Washington St., Winchester on Fri., Nov. 16 at 9AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester at 10AM.
