Edward James Stachowski, Sr, 90 died April 20, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore. He was the devoted husband of the late Helen E. Stachowski (NEE Smith) and beloved father of Edward J. Stachowski, Jr; Patricia Alevato (Joseph); Janet DePaola (Andrew) and Mark Stachowski. Dear son of the late Stanley and Regina Stachowski. He is survived by 10 grandchildren, Dennis & Eric Stachowski; Johanna Reier; Lisa, William & Erika Muller; Ashley, Andrew, Nicholas & Vincent DePaola and 6 great grandchildren with the 7th due in June. Also survived by 2 sisters Marie Chimelewski and Mildred Dembeck. He was predeceased by a brother, John Stachowski and 2 sisters, Lillian Sniegowski and Stella Stachowski. He will be sadly missed by his long time devoted caregivers Janet, Amy, Tatilda, Virginia and Liliana. He was a proud decorated veteran of World War II, a strong family man, extremely handy with tools and had a wry sense of humor. Edward and Helen are toeghter again celebrating their 63rd Wedding anniversary, April 23.
