Obituary

William T. Doucette, age 80, of Dorchester died Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Boston Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born and raised in East Boston a son of the late Clifford and Beatrice (Melanson) Doucette. A graduate of Boston Trade School, he served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Bill had worked for many years in the family business, Pier Sheet Metal in Boston. In his free time he enjoyed working with his hands, playing cribbage, taking long drives and time spent with his family.
Survivors include his children Robin Cameron and her husband James of N. Dighton and Kevin Doucette of Falmouth and one granddaughter Brianna Doucette Hazelton of Virginia. He also leaves his mother Lucy Doucette who raised him as a child and his brother John Doucette both of Nova Scotia. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Christine Cleary, Paul Doucette, Gerald Doucette and Lawrence Doucette.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday 5-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 10am. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
