Mr. Stacy Dean Wicker, 58, Douglas, Georgia, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ late Friday evening, September 02, 2011. Mr. Wicker was born on August 18, 1953 in Beaver, Ohio, the son of the late Mart and Carrie Wicker. He attended Saginaw Baptist Church. He was a machinist and fabricator with Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation in Douglas for 15 years. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 5, 2011 in Sims Chapel at 2:00 p.m. No burial will follow. Survivors include: widow: Connie Sue Wicker, Douglas, GA; children: Peggy Sue (Joel) Rodriguez and Charles Mart (Nellie) Wicker, Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Matthew Lemons, Adriana Lemons, Alexis Rodriguez, Stacy Dean Rodriguez, Nicole Wicker, Julia Wicker, Phillip Rodriguez and Dalton Rodriguez; great grandchildren: Christiana and Sophie Rodriguez; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 04, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
