Eileen (Cordwell) Mawson, 88, of Salem, NH died Wed., June 22nd at Salemhaven, Salem, NH.
Eileen was born and educated in England the daughter of the late Nellie (Edwards) and Arthur Cordell. She lived in Salem for 54 years. Eileen was in the WACS in England during WW II.
She had worked for 25 years at Lawrence Garment then as a payroll clerk with Parlex in Methuen, MA. Eileen was a member of St. David’s Church and the Ingram Senior Center. She enjoyed knitting and gardening.
She was predeceased by her husband Fred and her son Andrew.

There are no calling hours. The Funeral Service will be Wed., June 29th at 1PM at St. David’s Church, Salem, NH. Burial of the urn will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
