Mr. William F. Cryts Jr., age 59, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a very lengthy illness. Born in Malden, William is the loving son of Barbara J. (Lydon) Cryts of Medford and William F. Cryts Sr of Florida.

William, who was raised in Reading, graduated in 1969 from Tewksbury High School. He has been a Woburn resident for the last 31 years. An electrician by trade he was the owner and operator of Aarmco Alarm and Securities of Woburn for the last 20 years. He was an avid jeep enthusiast who regularly drove on the sands of Cape Cod beaches and was very involved with the Boys and Girls Scouts of America. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Woburn Sportsman Club.

William is survived by his loving children, Shawn M. Cryts and Abigail Cryts both of Woburn. Loving son of Barbara J. (Lydon) Cryts of Medford, William F. Cryts Sr and his wife Janet Milne of Florida. Brother of Laura Gilbert of Woburn, Pamela Giangregorio and her husband Joseph of Wilmington, David Cryts and his wife Laura of Derry, NH, Jocelyn Lane and her husband Paul of Londonderry, NH, Dolly DelMaestro and her husband Claudio of Malden and Andrew Cryts of CT. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and a grand nephew.

A funeral service will be held in the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 to 11 AM. Services will conclude with inurnment at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield. Expressions of sympathy may be sent in his memory to the Boy Scouts and or Girl Scouts of America
