Mr. David Rissinger, age 54, died Thursday April 14, 2011, at the Brigham and Womens Hospital of Boston, after a brief illness. Born in Harrisburg, PA, David was the beloved partner of Rick Martelli and the devoted son of Rosemond "Rosie" (Harling) Rissinger & James W. Rissinger of PA.

David has been a Woburn resident for the last 7 years, and a resident of Greater Boston, including southern New Hampshire for the past 31 years. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania and graduated from Susquenita High School in 1975, which is located in Duncannon, PA. He has been a Flight Attendant for US Airways for the last 31 years and a part time real estate agent for Prudential Properties of Woburn, MA. His hobbies included gardening, sculpting, caring for their loving dogs, Teddy and Alex, and traveling with his beloved partner of 30 years, Rick Martelli. They shared many trips together, especially the Caribbean and Europe and they spent their summers in Gloucester, MA.

In addition to his beloved partner Rick Martelli and his loving parents, Rosemond "Rosie" (Harling) & James W. Rissinger, David is the son in law of Margaret (Fucci) Martelli of Medford, MA & the late Carlo Martelli. Brother of James Rissinger Jr., his wife Bonnie, Linda Crabtree, Tom Rissinger, and his wife Wendy all of Pennsylvania. Brother in law to Diane Cole and her husband Glen of Malden. Also survived by 8 loving nieces and nephews and 7 loving great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in the McLaughlin-Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 5:30 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 2 thru 5:30 PM. Interment will be private.

It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in David's name to the American Cancer Society for Kidney Research, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
