Obituary

Violet R. (Dangelo) Chestercove 90, a lifelong Franklin resident, died Sunday April 10, 2011 at Epoch Nursing Center in Norton. She was the wife of the late Michael P. Chestercove, who died in 1979.
Born in Franklin, October 22, 1920 a daughter of the late Carmine and Maria (Mammone) Dangelo, she was raised and educated in Franklin. She retired after having worked many years as a dietary aide and cook at the former Palmer House (Franklin Skilled Nursing & Rehab.) on Chestnut Street in Franklin. She also worked at the former American Felt Company in Franklin.
She was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Franklin, and was a longtime member of the Sunday Night Mixed League at Ficco’s Bowladrome.
She is survived by a son; Richard P. Chestercove and his wife Deborah of Franklin, 3 daughters; Cynthia A. Brunelli and her husband John of Norwood, Susan M. Rappaneau and her husband Dana of Norton & Karen A. Wasylyk and her husband John of Berkley, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was also the sister of the late Nicholas Dangelo, Michael Dangelo, Charles Dangelo, and Carmella LeVitre.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday April 15th, at 8:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. FRANKLIN, www.oterifuneralhome.com with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9AM.
Interment will follow in the family lot at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Thursday from 4-8PM.
