Tony Hazen, 72, of Westport,Ma, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2010, after battling a long illness.
Tony was born in Melrose, Ma. He was the son of the late Holland W. and Veronica Odell Hazen of Dedham. He was the husband of Carol Macready Hazen.
Tony grew up in Dedham, Ma and attended Dedham High School, Class of 1955. He received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College in 1959. He attended BC Law and received his law degree from NE School of Law. Tony was a member of both the RI and MA Bar Association, and was a trial lawyer for Kemper Insurance.
Tony was known for his brilliant mind, quick wit, and athleticism. He was a long time member of the Acoaxet Tennis and Golf Club and the Spindle Rock Yacht Club of Westport.
Including his wife of 49 years, he is survived by his daughter, Kate Wilson, and his beloved grandson, Drew Wilson, both of Dedham.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
