Margaret C. Aulie

Margaret C. Aulie, 90, of 804 Third Ave., Berlin, NH passed away on Friday, November 20, 2009 at her home. She was born in Berlin on December 29, 1918 the daughter of John J. and Ann (Murtaugh) Travers and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Berlin High School in 1936 and had been employed in the Purchasing Dept. at Brown Company. She was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, served on the church council, volunteered in the CCD program and volunteered at the food pantry. Margie had many interests which included being a great artist and enjoyed painting, sewing, traveling to many places in the United States and abroad, enjoyed her time at Ossipee Lake with her family, loved to read and ski.

Members of the family include her son Robert Aulie and his wife Cynthia of Danielson, CT; daughters Nancy Wachholtz and husband Otto of Papillion, NE and Joan Hazlett and husband Thomas of Cambridge, MA; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one sister, Sr. Elizabeth Travers of Hartford, CT.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:30 AM, prior to the Mass.
