Obituary

Worcester, MA: Natalie P. (Parmenter), Hollstrom, 87, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 in UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Her husband, Gunnar E. Hollstrom passed away in 1984. She leaves a niece, Jean and her husband Jon Scott of Shrewsbury, several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She is pre-deceased by a brother, Harold Parmenter, and a sister, Miriam Wennerstrand.

Natalie was born in Clinton, MA, daughter of Elijah W. and Helen M. (Lederer) Parmenter. She graduated from college and worked as a secretary for Norton Company for a number of years. She was a member of Greendale People’s Church. Natalie was a self-proclaimed artist who loved crafts and gardening. She was a member of Tower Hill in Boylston and the Worcester Craft Center. She also spent a lot of time researching her geneology in the Lancaster and Clinton area.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Greendale People’s Church, earmarked “Restoration of Fisher Hall", 25 Francis St. Worcester, MA 01606.
