HATCH, SR., ROBERT J., 80, of CA formerly of Oradell died on Thursday, December 18th, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Virginia nee Grastara (2000). Devoted father of Robert J. Hatch, Jr. and his wife Barbara, Diane DePalma and her late husband Robert DePalma (2006) and Steven Hatch and his life partner Kerry Boll. Loving grandfather and great grandfather of Timothy Hatch, Kerry Portilla, Jennifer Rezell, Joshua DePalma, Jamie DePalma, Melissa Hatch, Nicole Hatch, Daniel Hatch, Emma and Connor Portilla and Jacob DePalma. Before retiring Robert was an electrician and a member of the Oradell Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a US Navy Veteran an served in WWII. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, December 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 27th at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Oradell. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
