Lillian Mae (Molonson) Brister, age 78, formerly of Mystic River Homes Congregate in Noank, passed away Wednesday morning at Fairview in Groton after a period of declining health.
Lillian was born in Stonington on February 24, 1930 the daughter of William J. and Grace E. (Allyn)Molonson.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a self employed seamstress.
She was the loving mother of three daughters, Marsha Bernes of TN., Gail Sweeney of Ledyard, and Frances Sawyer of Groton; her sisters, Evelyn Lerimore of Groton and Lynn Jackson of Stonington; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at Elm Grove Cemetery, Route 27, Mystic on Tuesday at 11am. (Guests are requested to arrive at the cemetery at 10:45). There are no visiting hours.
