Obituary

Meredith-Stephanie Diane Beaudoin, 36, of 30 Plymouth Street died Sunday morning, June 15, 2008 from injuries sustained in a boating accident on Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford.

Stephanie was born in Laconia on January 25, 1972 the daughter of Edgar L. and Virginia M. (Orr) Beaudoin. She had been a resident of Laconia for most of her life, recently moving to Meredith.

At the time of her death Stephanie was employed by the Laconia Clinic in the capacity of Client Patients Relations Manager where she was recognized in July 2007 with the “Patriotic Employer Award” in recognition of her support of employees called up to fulfill their reserve assignments. She was a graduate of Holy Trinity School, and Laconia High School, Class of 1990. She then went on to attend Bradford College in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and graduating from New Hampshire Technical College in Concord with a degree in Travel and Tourism.

Stephanie enjoyed life, among the many things that brought her joy aside from her family include; yoga, hiking, camping, canoeing, rock climbing, animals, and nature trips. She always looked forward to taking the yearly “girlfriend trips” as she enjoyed to travel as well. She was an active participant in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walks with the team from the Laconia Clinic.

Stephanie is survived by her parents, Edgar L. and Virginia M. (Orr) Beaudoin of Laconia; her brother, Lenn Beaudoin of Jacksonville, Florida; her sisters, Linda Hamilton of Gilmanton, Diane Neal of Gilford, and Suzanne Guarino and her husband David of Litchfield; her nephews, Lance, Seth, Iain, Tyler, and Jake. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive Stephanie.

Visiting hours were on Wednesday June 18, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia. Reverend Gary J. Kosmowski pastor of the church celebrated Stephanie’s mass. Burial followed in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street.
