Stephen D. DeVito Jr., age 45, beloved son, loving brother & uncle, of Salem, NH, died early Thursday morning from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born in Brighton, MA, grew up & was educated in Arlington, MA., and graduated from Don Bosco High School in Boston, MA. He later attended Pratt Institute in NY and Suffolk University in Boston, MA. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 14 years, formerly of Burlington, MA.
Stephen owned and operated DeVito’s on Main Fine Dining and Stevie D’s Sports Grille in Salem, NH. He also owned Stephen DeVito Trucking Inc, LL&S Wastewood Processing, Gateway Resource Recovery, and ERRCO Inc. Steve was a member of St. Mark’s Church in Londonderry, NH. He enjoyed boating, motorcycles, music, dancing, and singing. Most of all Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and his African Gray Bird “Bella”.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tues. June 17th at 11 AM at St. Mark’s Church, Londonderry, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem. Calling hours will be held Mon. June 16th from 2-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
