HOMEWOOD, IL-Louise Margaret (Gallagher) Cameron, 95, of Homewood, IL, formerly of Chicago Heights, IL and Worcester died Saturday, February 9th. Her husband, Roger Cameron predeceased her. She leaves her daughter, Mary Lou and her husband Dan Segebarth of Homewood, IL; three grandchildren, Susan and her husband Patrick Hughes of Hinsdale, IL, David Segebarth and his wife Dr. Sheri Johnson if Charlottesville, VA and Jeffrey and his wife Mary Ann Segebarth of Chicago, IL; five great grandchildren, Anna, Katherine and John Hughes, Zoey Segebarth and Ryan Segebarth who brought much joy to her final years; several loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her son, Jim Cameron, seven sisters and six brothers predeceased her.
She was born in Newburgh, N.B., Canada on January 31, 1913, the daughter of Frank and Catherine Gallagher. Mrs. Cameron was a longtime parishioner of St. Kieran Church and worked as a registered nurse in Worcester.
The funeral is Saturday, February 16th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 the morning of the funeral in the funeral home.
