She was born in Woonsocket a daughter of James and Gloria (Grady) Liard of Woonsocket, was a city resident most of her life, and was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Parish for nearly thirty years.
Mrs. Guillet was a homemaker but also worked as a teacher for Holy Trinity School in Central Falls for several years. She was an active volunteer for the Old Orchard Beach Chamber of Commerce, Special Olympics of Maine, Women’s Auxilliary of Maine, and Junior Achievement. Mrs. Guillet enjoyed gardening, cooking and entertaining at home.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by three children; Chad Guillet of Palm Bay FL, Donna Guillet of Woonsocket, and Joy Reynolds of Coventry, and one grandchild Paige Reynolds. She is also survived by five brothers, Richard Liard of Jonesport, ME, Michael and John Liard both of Woonsocket, James Liard of Venice FL, and Robert Liard of North Smithfield, and seven sisters; Gail Dubeau, Joan Marois, and Kathleen Liard all of Woonsocket, Ruth Joyce of Wrentham, MA, Tina Wulf of Wyoming, Patricia Ellis of Southboro MA, and Judith Trottier of Whitinsville, MA. In addition she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Mark Liard and Jane McCaffrey.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home , 463 South Main St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd.
