Iris Winstead Clark, age 74, was born on December 2, 1933 in Dixon, MS to Thomas T. and Bonnie Upton Winstead. She passed away on December 3, 2007 at Yalobusha County General Hospital in Water Valley, MS and was the widow of Bobby H. Clark, Sr.

Iris Clark was a retired Vice-President of the Loan Office at Mechanics Bank in Water Valley, MS. Mrs. Clark was well-known for her musical talent and played piano and keyboard for many years in a local band called The Generation Gap. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Water Valley.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 6 until 9 p.m. at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. The service will be at First Baptist Church of Water Valley at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2007 with Dr. Randy Bain officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Eddie Ray, Floyd McGehee, Fred Eakes, Ernie Aune, Rayford Edgar, and Curtis Berry serving as pallbearers.

She is survived by one daughter, Kim Clark Pullen of Water Valley, MS; one son, Bro. Hal Clark of Water Valley, MS; three sisters, Nan Craven of Magee, MS, Mary Ellen Howe of Tyler, TX, and Gloria Sowell of Jackson, MS: one brother, J.R. (Buddy) Winstead of Hattiesburg, MS; four grandchildren, Allison Pullen Crain, John Clark Pullen, Chessie Elizabeth Clark, and Blayne Winstead Clark; and one great grandchild, Sabrina Crain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby H. Clark, Sr. and one sister, Jean McCullough.
