Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Bethel, VT. Joseph S. Voci 69 years of Taunton, formerly of Brockton died Wednesday at the Morton Hospital in Taunton after a lengthy illness. He was the husband for 48 years of Constance J. (George) Voci. Mr. Voci was born and raised in Brockton a son of the late Nicola and Antoinette (Lamonica) Voci and for the past 15 years he had been a resident of Taunton. He was a graduate of Brockton High School class of 1956 and following graduation served in the US Marine Corps.
Mr. Voci retired in 1992 as production supervisor at Brockton Sole & Plastics after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed cruises and traveling, Italian cooking, opera and visiting museums. He was a former member of the Sons of Italy in Brockton and was a devoted grandfather to his nine grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four children Jospeh S. Voci, Jr. of Randolph, VT; Lisa Johnson of Taunton; Patricia Oranellas of Bridgewater and Jacqueline Ramsay of Bellevue, WA.
9 grandchildren, a sister Teresa Celia of Brockton and many nieces and nephews
He was the brother of the late Beatrice DeGirolamo and Maryanna Terrazano
