Obituary

TEWKSBURY: Arthur D. Riddle, age 70, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at the Winchester Hospital.
He was the husband of Jane (Donnelly) Duby-Riddle, with whom he celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on March 25th.
Born in Boston on March 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Albert L. and Jessie E. (Allen) Riddle.
Mr. Riddle attended Tewksbury schools.
Mr. Riddle co-founded and operated T&R Plastering Company of Tewksbury, where he worked for over 35 years.
He was an active member of the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks # 2070.
According to his family, he enjoyed attending family gatherings and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Arthur D. Riddle, Jr. and his wife Jackie of Andover; three daughters, Darlene F. Pellegrini and her husband Michael of Belmont, JoAnn M. Duffy and her husband Edward and Robin E. Riddle all of Tewksbury; one step-son, Bryan P. Duby of Billerica; one step-daughter, Alissa Tierney and her husband Jack of Sanford, ME; nine grandchildren, Erica L., Arthur A. and Ivana J. Riddle, Sophia J., Francesca R. Luka C., and Nina D. Pellegrini, Edward J. and Zachary T. Duffy; seven step grandchildren, Bryan P. Duby, III, Daniel J., McKayla L. and Matthew K. Duby, John, Amanda J. and Emily N. Tierney; five brothers, Albert L. Riddle, III and his wife Kate of Merrimack, NH, Brian T. Riddle and his wife Joan of Methuen, William J. Riddle of Tewksbury, Michael Riddle of Wilmington and Charles Riddle of Tewksbury; four sisters, Dorothy Pace of Oloe, Florida, Joan Pollard of Naples, FL, Carol Kenyon and her husband George of Methuen and Arlene Pappalardo of Hull; his close friends, Charlie and Eileen Collins of Florida and Charlie Morris of California; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.
Mr. Riddle was the brother of the late Cynthia J. Lefebvre.
Calling hours Friday, May 25th, 3-7 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Saturday, May 26th, at 9 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by Funeral services at 10 a.m., at the Tewksbury United Methodist Church, cor of Main & South Sts., Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Jessie Riddle Scholarship for Nursing, c/o Village Bank, 307 Auburn St., Auburndale, MA 02466-1902 are requested.
