Faye Evans Hall, 67, of Tifton died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the Golden Living Center, formerly Beverly Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2007, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Danny Jones will officiate with burial to follow in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula. Paul Leger, Christopher Leger, Hal McBrayer, Josh Jones, Buddy Evans, Ivey Evans, Lindsey Evans and Ray Evans will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Golden Living Center, Dr. John Desmond and member of United Hospice of Cordele. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, 2007, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Hall was born on August 14, 1939 in Tift County and was the daughter of Herman Evans and Pearl Apperson Evans, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Evans and Charles Evans; and one sister, Deborah Evans. She was a bus driver for the Tift County School System and a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hall is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Christie and Paul Leger of Tifton, and Teresa and Hal McBrayer of Tifton; four brothers, Buddy Evans of Sumner, Ivey Evans of Ty Ty, Lindsey Evans of Chula and Ray Evans of Tifton; one sister, Lynn Spires of Tifton; and three grandchildren, Keili Jones and her husband, Josh, Kayla McBrayer and Christopher Leger.
