Worcester – Rita M. (Richard) Manseau, 73, of Worcester died on Tuesday December 19th in her home after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Bernard W. Manseau; three sons Ronald H. Manseau of Longmeadow, MA, Michael A. Manseau of Worcester and Peter N. Manseau of Charlton; three daughters CarolAnn Dean of Oak Hill, VA, Brenda E. Blood of Spencer and Stacey M. Caudillo of Los Angeles, CA; three brothers Norman Richard of Arcadia, FL, Joe Richard of Worcester and Donald Richard of Auburn, two sisters Claire Messier of Charlton and Theresa Henzel of Enfield, CT; thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Manseau was born in Worcester daughter of George and Irene (Messier) Richard and is predeceased by two brothers Ernest and Paul Richard and a sister Yvette Lloyd.
Mrs. Manseau worked for over ten years at Prifti’s Candies and was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the Auburn Auxillary American Legion. She enjoyed crocheting and Bingo.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 23 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Friday, December 22 from 5 to 8 P.M.
