Luigi “Tuta” Bellone, age 90, of Medford formerly of East Boston died November 8th following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Nellie (Giorgio) Bellone. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Crucifisa (Gengo) Bellone.

Luigi was a recently retired barber and worked for many years at various Boston Hotels. He was a member of the AARP and also enjoyed gardening.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his sisters Fay Carfagna and Vincenza Giardina, brothers Gaetano and Joseph Bellone. He is survived by his children, Louise Bellone, Jean Barnard and Stephen Bellone all of Medford. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Richard Bellone of Framingham and sisters, Josephine Bonosaro of Malden and Eleanor McGonagle of Medford.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 3 thru 7. Services will conclude with burial at St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown.
