Nicholas J. Steriti, a life-long Medford resident, died Friday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. He was 48.

Nicky was born in Boston, the son of the late Nicholas and the late Camille (Ferrara) Steriti. Nicky helped operate his family restaurant, L and M Coffee located at the produce market.

He was a devoted brother to Louis Steriti of Medford. He was a loving uncle to Louis Steriti of Malden, Mark, Nicholas, Rachel, Christopher and Matthew Steriti all of Medford. He was a loving great-uncle of Justin, Joseph Steriti and Derek Sweeny. He also is survived by many cousins and Nicky leaves his dear pet dog Gus.

4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Medford Tuesday morning at 9.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
