Obituary


Mrs. Stella Emma (Leclerc) Amero, 78, of 266 East Mason Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday October 29, 2005 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, NH. She was born in Berlin, NH on October 19, 1927 the daughter of Aime and Joanita (Bedard) Leclerc and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1946. She had been employed as a cashier at Morrissette’s Food Market and as a seamstress while bringing up her family. In 1981, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed teaching people about the Bible and God’s name.

Members of the family include her husband Raymond W. Amero of Berlin, NH; 1 daughter Rachel (Ste. Croix) Montminy of Berlin, NH; 2 sons Peter St. Croix of Manchester, NH and Richard Ste. Croix of Maine; 3 grandchildren Jasmine Montminy of Berlin, NH and Lisa Ste. Croix and Daniel Ste. Croix of Maine; 6 stepchildren Ruth Baillargeon of Berlin, NH, Wanetta Collins of Berlin, NH, Laura Stocker of Berlin, NH, Roxanne Amero of Maine, Randy Amero of Berlin, NH and Roland Amero of Berlin, NH; 5 sisters Doris Christensen of Oregon, Florence Croteau of Maine, Yvette Drapeau of Manchester, NH, Jackie Elias of Texas and Connie Piper of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Rene Ste. Croix in 1984 and 3 brothers R. Charles Leclerc, Roger Leclerc and Rene Leclerc.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 19, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 28 Spruce Street, Gorham, NH, 03581. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
