Michael O. Anderson, 74, of Worcester passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, May 1st. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Mary A. (Foley) Anderson; a son, Eric M. Anderson and his wife Ellen of East Brookfield; a daughter, Nicole D. Anderson and her partner Jane Sargentelli of Worcester; three brothers, Philip Anderson of Auburn, Stephen Anderson of Leominster, and Matthew Anderson of Webster; four grandchildren, Emily, Zoe, Zachary, and Willow Anderson, all of East Brookfield; and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, the son of Michael Oren and Claire (Foster) Anderson and graduated from South High School. Mr. Anderson worked for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette for 40 years, retiring as a Production Manager in 2004. He was a United States Air Force veteran and served in the Strategic Air Command during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening and cutting wood. Mike was an avid reader and a handy-man. He attended Our Lady of the Angels Church. His funeral is Friday, May 6th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street.
