Our heart-strong man passed away holding his wife's hand and listening to the ballgame on Sunday, May 1st. Preceded in death by mother Laura Schlitter, sister Brenda Hull, brother Karl Schlitter and daughter Nicole. Survived by many who knew and loved him including wife Jurene, sons Zachary and Nathan (Bre), grandchildren Allie, Zachary, Gia, Gus, Gena and Gabe, brother Jason Schlitter (Carole), nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and good friends Tommy and Rodney. Our hearts are broken as we remember this one of kind man. There will be no formal service, per Ron's request. A gathering of friends and family, a time for stories and shared memories, will be scheduled for a later date.
