Beloved Father of Sean Graham and his wife Eileen of Marlboro and the late Georgiann Braid. Brother of Flora Phillips of Conway, AK and the late Billy Wayne Graham. Cherished grandfather of Kimberly Kowalski and her husband Daniel of Revere, Scott Braid and his companion Rebecca Dausch of Salem, Caitlin Graham of Chicago and Erin Graham of Dorchester. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Tuesday, May 3rd at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Born in Bee Branch, AK 83 years ago and a resident of Chelsea since 1954, Lavon passed away at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett late Wednesday afternoon. A Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, after military service he worked as a stationary engineer at James Rivers and Diamond International both in Hyde Park, S7W Industries in Newton and lastly for at MCI Concord retiring in 1998.
