Obituary

Anthony James Conway, 21, went to heaven on April 15, 2016 in Ventura, CA. He was born in Glendale, CA on Dec 2, 1994 and moved to Ventura County when he was 3 years old.

Albeit far too brief, his life was spent in the loving embrace of his parents, Clancy and Jan Conway of Ventura, his sister Ashley Conway Branstetter of Moorpark, his nephew Quinn and niece Daisy, his dog Luna, as well as a large extended family and many friends.

He graduated from Buena High School in 2012 and attended Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo in 2013.

Anthony will be lovingly remembered as a kind, gentle and spiritual soul, who was shy, witty, intelligent, athletic, and a constant jokester. He was an avid Yankees and LSU fan, enjoyed all sports, cooking gourmet meals, working out, listening to music and hanging out with his homies. As a young boy he played baseball with the Montalvo little league and began many treasured friendships.

His philosophy in life was best described on his tattoo “Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your path straight.” Great comfort resides in his final words to his father “I love you, Dad.” His family is certain he would like his final words to you to be, “Never stop trying to better yourself, be courageous, be real, be kind, and know that I love you.”
