Denise M. (Doucett) Clements, age 65 of Bridgewater, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Signature Healthcare/Brockton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert F. “Bob” Clements for 46 years. Born in Boston she was a daughter of the late Martin and Emma (Othmer) Doucett. Denise was raised in Boston and spent many years in Brockton before moving to Bridgewater.
Denise was a 1968 graduate of East Boston High School. She most recently worked at Bay State Gas, and previously owned her own hair salon and also was a freelance real estate agent. She was the first woman president of the Lion’s Club in Brockton.
Denise loved cruising and trips to the casino but most importantly spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Rylie.
In addition to her husband Robert she is survived by her two sons, Todd M. Clements and his wife Jill of Bridgewater and Craig T. Clements of Brockton; two grandchildren, Rylie M. and Bradyn T. Clements. She was the sister of Simone “Bootsie” Imperato of Marlboro, Patty McKeown of S. Carolina and the late Felice Onessimo.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton, Sunday from 2-5pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Monday at 8am for a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
