Anna (Piazza) Petrosso of Watertown passed on Tuesday, April 26. Born and raised in Boston's West End, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Muscari) Piazza. Anna lived in Medford for many years. She was employed as a secretary for the City of Medford Parks and Rec. Dept. before retiring to Cape Cod and Arlington, and then moving to Watertown eight years ago.

Anna was the beloved wife of the late Emil E. Petrosso, and the devoted mother of Janet Zildjian and her husband Zaven of Watertown, Palma DiMare and her husband Richard of Harpswell, ME, Rose Borchers and her husband Robert of Madison, NH, Joseph Petrosso and his wife Kim of Barnstable. She was the loving grandmother of Mark and his wife Alyson, Dianna and her husband Michael, Armen and his wife Sybil, Darah, Michael, Janel and her husband Doug, Daryl and his wife Catherine, and Luca. Anna was the loving great grandmother of Zachary, Maia, Michael, Ani, Braedon, Ari, Thomas and Emilia. She was the cherished sister of the late Mary, Salvatore "Dick," Rose, James, Lawrence, Angelina "Angie," and Joseph "Sonny." She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting hours (wake) Sunday, May 1, from 4 through 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Funeral will be held on Monday May 2, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
