LACONIA - Marguerite Geraldine Samson, 88, of 75 Pine Street, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Belknap County Nursing Home.
She was born on October 13, 1927 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernadette (Beaudoin) Bolduc. Marguerite worked for over 42 years as a Registered Nurse at Lakes Region General Hospital. She enjoyed knitting, reading, crochet, watching birds and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters; Grace Theriault and her husband John of Laconia and Jane Newton and her husband James of Laconia and five grandchildren; Kate, Barbara, Alex, Rachel and Beth. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rene C. Samson, her daughter, Anne Hendrington and one sister, Rita Bolduc.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Saint Andre Bessette - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia.
Burial will be privately held in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Laconia.
