Methuen – Allen F. Fay, 76 of Methuen, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Felides) Fay, to whom he was married for 53 years.
Born in Methuen on June 7, 1939, he was the son of William and Ruth (Halloran) Fay. He attended Methuen schools. Allen worked as an electrician with IBEW, Local 103 in Boston for 30 years until his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed watching horse racing and football with his best friend Harry Felides. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching games with his grandson Tristan.
Allen will be deeply missed by his wife, Elaine; his daughter, Kathleen Fay-Allen and her husband, Randy of Methuen; his son, David Fay and fiancé Monique Daignault of Methuen; 8 grandchildren, Tristan, Kirkland, Justin, Katelyn, Erin, Sarah, Alyssa and Andrew; his brother, James Fay of Florida; his sisters-in-law, Athena Melucci and her husband, Richard of Methuen and Marianne Bennett of Phoenix; and his nephews. Allen is predeceased by his brother, William Fay.
