Everyone’s Best Friend Robert W. DiGangi (Bobby), 67, of Gilford, NH, and Medford, MA, passed away unexpectedly on April 12 in St. Petersburg, Florida, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Somerville, he was the cherished son of the late Salvatore (Salvi) and Mary (Pagluica) DiGangi. Survived by the love of his life Gail of Gilford, and their loving children Tony and his wife Carolyn of Weston, MA, Chris and his wife Margot of Lincolnville, Maine; Rob and his wife Anne of Alton and Meaghan Cott of Portsmouth. He leaves his brother Joe and his partner Kathy of Medford, MA, his main man "my cousin Butchie" of East Boston, MA, and in-laws, Fred and Priscilla Gottwald of Stoneham; MA, Dennis Moynihan of Centerville, MA, Brian Moynihan of Laconia., Joanne Moynihan of Exeter, Dermot Moynihan and mother-in-law Jean Moynihan of Meredith and Sean Moynihan of Ipswich, MA. Devoted grandfather of Harrison DiGangi and granduncle to , Mikayla Burley, Jared, Nicholas, Joshua DiGangi, Ryker Cott and Winnie Cooper. Bobby was the rarest of spirits, a free soul, who made everyone he met feel special. All those who crossed his path thought they were his best friend. Known for his gift of gab and his natural talent for networking, he could sell anything, including himself, to anyone. Bobby DiGangi was so much more than a name – the mere mention elicits everything big, first-class, Motown, loud, gruff, funny, generous, kind, caring, emotional, but most of all love. Cherished by his large family and many friends, they pray his much-loved soul be reunited with the ones who have paved the path before him. He will share his spirit with all of us and help us to adjust to life without his physical presence. We will remember him always and repeat Bobby DiGangi stories throughout our lives. He is much loved and sorely missed already. He has left his mark on our worlds. Such a spirited soul will be welcomed at the gateway to heaven. Soar happily with the angels, Bobby. We love you.
