Robert J. Dagesse, 89, of Woonsocket, died March 13, 2016. Robert was the husband of the late Theresa (Caron) Dagesse. Born in Blackstone, he was the son of the late Hanora and Diana (Breault) Dagesse.
Robert served in the Army in WWII as a combat engineer, participating in the Battle of the Bulge. He later worked as a machinist for the Brown & Sharp and Taft Pierce companies.
Robert is survived by several nieces and nephews and a best friend, June Stowik. Robert was predeceased by his six siblings.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:30AM in St Joseph’s Church, Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA.
