Doris Joan "DoDo" (Miskell) Boutin, 75, of Methuen, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, April 17th, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of the late Edward and Genevieve Miskell. Doris was a graduate of St. Patrick's Grammar School and Lawrence High School. Doris was employed by the City of Lawrence School Department. First as a teachers aide at the Kane School, then as a principals secretary at the Lawrence High School and the General Donovan School. While her children were growing up she was a licensed cosmetologist and worked from her salon in her home.
Doris enjoyed preparing dinner on St. Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Doris enjoyed spending winters at our home in Barefoot Bay, Florida followed by vacations at the Island of Aruba at their time share (Renaissance Resorts and Casa DelMar).
Doris married her high school sweetheart 53 years ago. She is survived by her husband Leo, her daughter Kristen Holland and husband James, son Timothy and wife Kerri and son Bryan. As well as her two beloved grandchildren and love of her life Cameron and Christina Boutin.
She is also leaves behind her sisters A. Judith and husband Joseph Girgenti, Barbara and husband William Bateman and Brother Edward "Skip" Miskell.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Lucy's Church in Methuen, MA.
