Laconia-----Henry Louis Drouin, 86, of 406 Court Street died on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the St. Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Laconia.
Henry was born on September 27, 1929 in St. Philibert, Quebec, Canada, the son of Emil and Rose (Groleau) Drouin. He worked as a machinist for Scott & Williams and was a custodian for Laconia High School.
Henry enjoyed traveling with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. His love of gardening and woodworking gave him great joy and peace.
Henry is survived by a daughter, Monique Drouin Graves and her husband Ken of Bedford, nine grandchildren, Daniel, Ashley, Nicholas, Alex, Joshua, Jenay, Marcus, Madison and Aidan; two brothers, John and Rock Drouin; two sisters, Emilette Beaudoin and Jeanne Dionne Lambert, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by wife, Solange M. "Sally" Drouin who died January 2, 2016 and his son, Daniel J. Drouin Sr. and by his brothers, Wilbrod, Claude and Benoit Drouin.
Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home,164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish-Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Ave. Laconia NH.
Burial will follow in the family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia.
