Olive Estelle (Donnelly) Kasouf, 92, a resident of Methuen, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Lewiston, ME, Olive was a graduate of both St. Rita's Grammar School and St. Mary's High School Class of 1941. She had worked as a long time Bookkeeper for Korbey Oil Company until it closed, and continued to work for the family for some years afterwards. Prior to that she had worked for the Empire Clothing Company. Olive had volunteered as the treasurer at St. Joseph's Melkite Church for many years and had been a member of the Daughter's of St. Joseph. She had also helped count the collections at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish.
The daughter of the late Francis H. and Estelle B. (DeForge) Donnelly as well as the adoptive parent of the late Harley D. Kaiser, members of Olive's family include her sister Eleanor A. Ruffen of Methuen as well as one niece, one nephew, and several cousins. Olive was also the sister of the late Francis T. Donnelly, Estelle E. Emmott, Patricia K. Clarke, and Marilyn R. Donnelly.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday morning from 10 to 11 A.M. at the funeral home.
