Obituary

MCHUGH; Beatrice Margaret (Conroy) of Roslindale/Wellesley passed away peacefully April 13, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Paul James McHugh for 66 years. Loving mother of Patricia and Howard Allen of Manchester NH, Paul Jr. and Linda McHugh of Candia NH, Robert and Evelyn McHugh of Roslindale, Anne and Raymond O'Sullivan of West Roxbury, William and Marie McHugh of Canton, Mary Theresa and Paul MacNeil of West Roxbury, Kathleen and Thomas McAnulty of Walpole. Cherished Nana of Christie Storniolo, Jessica Wachsman, Amybeth, David, Riley and the late Ryan McHugh, Caitlin and Jamie O’Sullivan, Emmalene and Rachel McHugh, Kyle, Alec and Shamus MacNeil. Great grandmother of Grace, Nicholas, Julia, Zoe, Ryan and Benjamin. Devoted sister of the late Thomas, William, James and Edward Conroy. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and Conroy cousins.

Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA Wednesday, April 20 at 9:00 am. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Holy Name Church West Roxbury, Wednesday April 20 at 10:00 am.

Services will conclude with Interment at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday April 19, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Beatrice was devoted to her family and her marriage to Paul gave her much joy throughout her life. Her talents included sewing, crafting, baking and many more that she enjoyed sharing creatively and teaching to others. In her early retirement she enjoyed traveling with her husband and family to many destinations such as Canada, England, Alaska, the Caribbean, Florida and Ireland. Most important to Beatrice was that she have good and kind children and the times spent with her family were her most cherished moments. She loved holidays and any special occasion that brought everyone together and took special joy during those times. Her family will always be grateful that she lived her life supporting them and many others.
She will be dearly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Beatrice's name to the Elizabeth Seton Residence, Attention Administration, 125 Oakland Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481
