Rosa Correia Hester (48) of Brockton died April 14th in the St. Joseph Manor.
She was born in Praia, Santiago, Cabo Verde daughter of the late Joao Correia and Maria DeJesus Semedo of Portugal. Rosa worked as a cleaning agent for merry maids service. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and socializing with friends and family. She also was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church.
In addition to her mother she is survived by 2 sons Jorge and his wife Stephanie Dossantos of East Bridgewater and Bruno Dossantos of Brockton, a daughter Maria Veiga of Brockton, 4 brothers, Admiro Miranda of London, England, Ilidio Correia of Praia, CV, Sansan and Tony Cardoso both of Brockton, 8 sisters, Vera Patricia Semedo of France, Rosaria Miranda of Portugal, Alcinda and Nelida Correia both of Luxenburg, Amarilde Cardoso of Fall River, Antonieta and Paula Pires, also Wanda Semedo all of Brockton. 2 grandchildren, Geremyah and Jase, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services Thursday April 21st at 8 am from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday April 20th from 5-9 pm.
